Since the pioneering work of Ed Ott, Celso Grebogi and James Yorke on Controlling Chaos, an explosion of new results have appeared on this interesting topic of Nonlinear Dynamics. In the recent years new methods of controlling chaos have been explored in a new fashion, considering control of transient chaos in presence of noise, the phase control method applied to chaotic oscillations and the intermittency in nonlinear oscillators, analytical methods of parametric perturbations, delay feedback methods, controlling chaos in maps and also many applications in many fields of Physics. This minisymposium is devoted to the recent developments of controlling chaos and its applications.
