CORIA is a partner of CoEC4ET selected by the European EuroHPC JU Centers of Excellence program

The CoEC4ET project, in which CORIA is a partner, has been selected as part of the European EuroHPC JU Centers of Excellence program

The European Centre of Excellence in Combustion for the Energy Transition (CoEC4ET, HORIZON-JU-EUROHPC-2026-COE-LH-01, grant 101319265) develops the next generation of Exascale-ready simulation technologies for low-carbon combustion systems. Building on the achievements of the CoEC project, CoEC4ET advances high-fidelity CFD, AI-enabled workflows, and interoperable software libraries to support predictive simulations on emerging and heterogeneous European supercomputers. The project brings together leading academic and industrial partners to develop scalable, performance-portable digital technologies and shared software components for applications ranging from fundamental benchmark configurations to industrial combustion systems in aviation, maritime transport, power generation, and energy-intensive industries. Within CoEC4ET, the CORIA laboratory will contribute to the development of scalable adaptive mesh refinement algorithms for heterogeneous CPU/GPU supercomputing architectures, advanced chemistry integration methods for spray combustion, and their integration into the project’s flagship CFD software ecosystem, including the YALES2 platform and shared software libraries.
