The PADAWAN project, led by the CORIA laboratory (Complexe de Recherche Interprofessionnel en Aérothermochimie) at the University of Rouen Normandie, as well as the CNRS and INSA Rouen Normandie, has won the €72 million call for projects for innovation in radioactive waste management. It is one of 40 winners announced by Bruno Le Maire, Minister of the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Minister of Energy Transition, Roland Lescure, Minister Delegate for Industry, and Bruno Bonnell, Secretary General for Investment, in charge of France 2030.
