Purposes of the event
The PhD-Day is a major event organised by the PhD students of CORIA. On this day, the PhD students have the opportunity to present their work in different formats. Moreover, we have the pleasure of attending a presentation by a CORIA PhD Alumni, currently working in industry.
One of the purposes of the event is to exchange between the different laboratory units and to discuss during coffee breaks and during lunch. The PhD-Day gives a brief look at the PhD students’ works at CORIA.
Finally, Master students also can discover the research topics of the CORIA and can talk about the master thesis with professors and researchers.
Different formats
Different formats exist for the PhD students to present their work:
- Standard presentations of 20 minutes
- Short presentations of 3 minutes
- Photo and video contests
The winner in each formats receive a special prize.
